Effective 11 August 2026. Plain terms for a free Australian gardening tool.

About these terms

GrowCal Australia is operated by Tilbury Trading. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@growcal.com.au. This version is effective from 11 August 2026.

What GrowCal provides

GrowCal provides general gardening information and calendar reminders for Australian gardens, free of charge. It is an informational tool.

GrowCal does not provide professional horticultural, agronomic, arboricultural or other professional advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for it.

Gardening involves judgment

Growing conditions vary by property, soil, aspect, drainage, weather, frost, pests, disease, microclimate and plant variety. Seasons also vary from year to year.

Any weather or forecast information shown with GrowCal Plus is general guidance only and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate — forecasts are uncertain. Always consider local conditions and official weather advice before acting.

You should use your own judgment and, where appropriate, seek local or professional advice before acting on anything you read here.

We do not guarantee that a plant will germinate, survive, crop, be available, or be suitable for your particular site.

Using your calendar

You may download and use the calendar you generate for your own personal, non-commercial gardening use, including importing it into your own calendar application.

The downloaded calendar file is a point-in-time export. It does not update automatically if our data changes.

Our content and branding

The GrowCal name, branding, website design, written content, growing profiles and plant database are owned by us or our licensors, except for third-party data used under licence and attributed on our methodology page.

To the extent permitted by law, you must not copy, republish, resell, systematically extract or scrape the site or its underlying data, or use automated tools to access it in bulk, without our written permission.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site or its data at any time, and we do not guarantee that the site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the site.

Third-party links and data

The site may link to third-party websites or use third-party data sources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of third parties, and a link is not an endorsement.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided on an “as is” basis, and we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or the calendars it generates. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or the reasonable cost of doing so, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state, unless a mandatory law that applies to you requires otherwise.
